GE Speedtronic Mark VIe IS220PTCCH1B is a Thermocouple Input Module consisting of 12 combustion optimized inputs and 1 cold junction. Simplex, duplex and triple modular redundancy applications are all possible with the IS220PTCCH1B. This board can accommodate conventional thermocouples such as E, J, K, S, and T, as well as mV inputs ranging from -8 to 45 mV. The thermocouples E, J, K, S, and T can be grounded or ungrounded and can be placed up to 984 feet from the turbine I/O panel. The cable resistance must not exceed 450 ohms. The IS220PTCCH1B can run a variety of self-diagnostics, including flash memory, RAM, processor board hardware, and Ethernet port self-tests. It also provides continual monitoring of its internal power supply to ensure that they are operating properly.

The IS220PTCCH1B REV F is a Thermocouple Input Module manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the Mark VIe Series used in GE Distributed Control Systems. The PTCC provides the electrical interface between one or two I/O Ethernet networks and a thermocouple input terminal board. The pack contains a processor board common to all Mark VIe distributed I/O packs and an acquisition board specific to the thermocouple input function. The pack is capable of handling up to 12 thermocouple inputs. Two packs can handle 24 inputs on TBTCH1C. In the TMR configuration with the TBTCH1B terminal board, three packs are used with three cold junctions, but only 12 thermocouples are available.
The IS220PTCCH1B is a Mark VIe I/O pack. One or more I/O pack modules digitize the sensor signal and feed it to the controller. Every I/O pack has Dual 100MB full-duplex Ethernet Ports. This is mostly used with the GE Speedtronic Mark VIe series. In addition, the Mark VIe is a flexible platform for multiple applications. It also provides high-speed networked I/O for simplex, dual, and triple-redundant systems.IS220PTCCH1B is a multiple PCB module with multilayer PCB populated with SMD components. Numerous versions of this I/O pack are also available.
